About this job: The Restaurant Manager supports the Director of Operations in their efforts to develop and lead a team of dedicated people who deliver great, friendly guest experiences and profitable top line sales. They make recommendations regarding the development of Crew and Shift Leaders and fulfill accountabilities assigned by the Director of Operations.

  • Monitoring daily labor & managing employees to their scheduled hours.
  • Determining and preparing accurate task lists for each employee on a shift-by- shift basis.
  • Determining and submitting accurate orders to vendors based on the ordering system.
  • Assisting in generating accurate inventory counts on a regular basis. Recruiting and Training
  • Making recommendations to Director of Operations regarding hiring of potential employees.
  • Making recommendations to Director of Operations regarding disciplinary action of employees.

The Restaurant Manager supports the Director of Operations in their efforts to develop and lead a team of dedicated people who deliver great, friendly guest experiences and profitable top line sales. They make recommendations regarding the development of Crew and Shift Leaders and fulfill accountabilities assigned by the Director of Operations.

  • Build lasting relationships with trust and respect on all levels within the team, vendor relations, guest relations and community.
  • Anticipate and accommodate needs of the guests.
  • Supervises and coordinates employee responsibilities to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and profitably.
  • Make recommendations to DO in placing effective orders, based on sales
  • Proper receiving, rotation, storage and handling of all food products.
  • Working closely with the DO to build guest count with the delivery of consistent, high quality guest service and products.
  • Maintaining high standards in all areas of safety, security and sanitation.
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training new applicants and employee development of all subordinates.
  • Addresses and resolves guest and employee concerns.
  • Responsible for reconciling end-of-shift financials.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years previous hospitality supervisory/management experience within a high-volume setting is essential.
  • Two-year associate degree (60 credit hours) in Hospitality, Business etc. or equivalent work experience preferred (but not required to be considered)
  • Clear, articulate communication style (ability to speak and write in English)
  • Positive, supportive, empathetic/compassionate attitude – we care about what we do, how we do it and who it impacts
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with computers, POS and technology.

Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for a professional Line Cook to join our talented team to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Ultimately you will play a key role in the success of Ovlo Eats restaurant (and other Ovlo Group brands) by providing excellent customer satisfaction and high-quality food preparation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepares food according to recipes, procedures and standards, within allowable time guidelines.
  • Responds to all guests’ special requests.
  • Maintains, stocks, restocks, cleans and organizes work area.
  • Follows sanitation and safety standards.
  • Safely operates and maintains cleanliness of equipment (slicer, mixer, etc.).
  • Practices proper and safe food handling, storage, receiving, stocking and rotating procedures.
  • Other assigned duties from the culinary staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clear, articulate communication style (ability to speak and write in English)
  • Desires to be part of a growing organization and support our local community
  • Physical demands: lift and carry up to 30 pounds and carry short distances, stand for periods of 8-10 hours
  • Able to reach 36 inches across table/stove or above in shelving/compartments
  • Can properly operate kitchen machinery such as stoves, stove tops, ovens, hoods (venting), fryers, mixers, electric utensils, food torches, Robot Coupe, salamander, slicers, knives
  • Positive attitude and is considerate when working with team members
